Right in the heart of the city’s new business district, the Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre provides a warm atmosphere in its Norwegian-style, 4-star property. Though dedicated to business travellers, the hotel is also suitable for a relaxing break.

This ideal location ensures excellent transport links via the metro with the Thalys, Eurostar and TGV trains, as well as the European Institutions (5 – 10 minutes). Right next to the biggest shopping centre and at walking distance from the famous Grand Place, you can easily explore this bustling capital.

After a pleasant day, you can unwind in the wonderful fitness room, sauna and solarium on the top floor, while looking out over lively Brussels.

The hotel possesses 14 function rooms of which the largest one has a capacity of 400 persons in a theatre style.

A unique feature is the amazing top floor dedicated to the relaxation centre complete with fitness room, sun beds and sauna, with panoramic views of the city.

Food & beverage

Descend into the lobby filled with comfortable furnishings, which lead to the atmospheric Spitsbergen bar and lounge, for food and a drink, a game of pool or to taste the large choice of Belgian beers. A relaxing end of your day in cosy surroundings!

The large breakfast buffet will be served in the Cap Nord restaurant that can welcome up to 400 people. The possibility of half or full board stay is also offered to you.

The bed had insects in it. The sauna couldn't go below 110 degrees (too hot).

Cleaning almost was absent. The parlourmaid does not understand the tablet "not to disturb", awakes the child

Liked the location of the hotel - sensational shopping centre across the road and one or two train/tram stops away from city centre and food places. Some good eating nearby as well. The staff are knowledgeable and spoke different languages well, obviously cater for the needs of a wide range of clients very efficiently and effectively. Weekend rates were very attractive. Fridge in room.

A minor thing. Didn't like drinking tea and coffee from disposable cups, but appreciate that the decision to use these is based on practicality and hygiene factors. Appreciated the provision of two glasses supplied that were suitable for drinking water or wine.

The hotel is situated close to a metro station (1 min.) and taxis. Major points of interest of Brussels (e.g. Grand Place) can be reached in a 7 min. walk. The hotel rooms are nice, very clean and for Brussels the room price is reasonable. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful in any respect. The seats and tables in the bar were quite useful to serve as ad-hoc "meeting room".

TV reception was bad or TV set did not work properly or was not tuned properly. Internet connection was unreasonable expensive. Room service failed to replace all used items every day (e.g. shampoo and shower lotion).

We were given another room within minutes when the heating stopped working in the original room. David Li on the Reception Desk was very helpful.
